Monday Quotes

One thing my parents always taught me growing up was not to force anything.

This doesn’t necessarily mean not to fight for everything…just don’t force it. Sometimes we try SO hard to try to make situations work out the way we want them too, but maybe it’s just not meant to be? MAYBE something better is just going to easily fall into place as soon as you let it go.

Zach and I were looking for a place for months! We wanted so badly to move to California and nothing was working out. After giving it a rest, we decided it was best to stay in Utah. As soon as I let the whole California thing go, I got a wonderful job in Utah, we found a place we adore (I’ll post pictures when we move in), and I realized how much I love it here. The city, my extraordinary girls, the beautiful mountains, and everything else Utah has to offer.

If nothing is working out, just leave it.

It could work out later, but right now it’s just not meant. Sometimes closing a door means 2 more will open.

Monday Quotes

Ain’t that the truth. Start planning a trip because…..

1.) It gives you something to look forward to/something to obsess over.

2.) If you actually start planning it entirely, maybe you’ll actually go?

3.) I can promise you.. it’ll indeed make you richer– at heart and at mind, which is all that matters.

My next trip I’m planning is to Vietnam or maybe a surf trip up the West Coast…

Where do you plan on going?

Monday Quotes

sorry for posting this so late!

Pretty self-explanatory right? No one is going to care if you have a thigh gap when you die. However, they will remember your love, kindness, and charity. Become a person that you’d want to meet. Serve others! In the end, all that really matters is if you benefited someone’s life in someway or another.

Monday Quotes

Thankfully, life isn’t about how big our house is, how many toys we own, or how much our paychecks are… it’s about doing things that make us happy. I’ve been thinking about this a lot of the weekend and I’m sure as hell happy that we can’t buy happiness. It’s a great feeling knowing that if everything was taken from me, or if my house burns my possessions (good times, right aub?), or if I take a major pay cut, my happiness doesn’t have to be affected.

This week, write down all the things that make your life wonderful (that aren’t things you had to buy)!

all my love xoxo
